NYMPH's compositional pallette encompasses an ebullient kaleidoscope of sound: imagine 13th Floor Elevators essaying a Rahsaan Roland Kirk jam and you begin to get the picture. The blissful spirit and luxuriant execution of NYMPH's showering riffage is combined with intuitive vocal expression largely free from the semantic bounds of lyric & finds form in a cavalcade of orgasmic yelps, howls & piercing screams, all atop an orgiastic din of swirling polyrhythmic bedlam. 3/26 Saturday (RK) 8 and 10 pm Eugene Chadbourne (aka Doc Chad) Solo Eugene Chadbourne (vocals, modified electric dobro, deering goodtime 5-string banjo) In this period Doc Chad is presenting a retrospective of original songs and compositions, included are many old favorites as well as pieces from the new CDs "Reason" and "Treason". 3/27 Sunday (AC) 8 and 10 pm White Out with Nels Cline Nels Cline (guitar) Lin Culbertson (synth, autoharp) Tom Surgal (drums) 3/29 Tuesday (JI) 8 pm Soundtrack Without a Movie Ikue Mori (electronics) Billy Martin (percussion) DJ Olive (vinyl) Ikue Mori (DNA), Billy Martin (MMW), DJ Olive (WE™).
